Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Stratus Aviation, Inc. d/b/a Dock (“Dock,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when people use Dock. Organizations using Dock also decide what repair and business information their users submit. Questions about an organization’s own practices should be directed to that organization.

Information we collect

  • Account and team information: name, email address, profile photo, organization, role, invitations, and authentication records.
  • Repair workflow information: invoices, work orders, repair lines, vehicle and driver details, notes, attachments, authorization status, and portal responses submitted by users.
  • Connection information: usernames, encrypted credentials, session information, and connection health for services linked at the organization’s direction.
  • Billing information: subscription status, transaction and invoice details, and payment-provider identifiers. Dock does not receive full payment card numbers.
  • Usage and diagnostics: device, browser, page, feature interaction, performance, and error information. When configured, privacy-masked session diagnostics may be used to troubleshoot the product.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, authenticate, secure, and support Dock;
  • extract and organize repair information and carry out user-directed submissions;
  • show shared workflow state to authorized members of the same organization;
  • process billing and send service, security, and support communications;
  • monitor reliability, diagnose errors, and improve product workflows; and
  • comply with law and protect users, Dock, and others.

How information is disclosed

We disclose information to authorized teammates in the same organization; to connected repair authorization portals at a user’s direction; and to service providers supporting hosting, database and file storage, artificial-intelligence processing, analytics and diagnostics, billing, and email delivery. These providers process information for the services they provide to Dock. We may also disclose information in a business transaction, to comply with law, or to protect rights and safety.

Dock does not sell personal information for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet an organization’s instructions, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, security, and backup requirements. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Users can update certain account and notification settings in Dock. Depending on location, individuals may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, and to appeal or object to certain processing. Requests may be made through your Dock representative or the contact channel through which your organization receives Dock support. We may need to verify identity and may direct requests about Customer Data to the organization that controls it. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law.
